Sorry, me again. I have a new boom stand in my little garage studio now and I just couldn't wait for a model to try out some setups. I have wanted to try this setup since I saw a portrait by the strobist himself, Mr David Hobby. That photo is here: http://strobist.blogspot.com/2012/02/b2b-one-big-top-light.html This photo really struck me. just amazing light. So above are my feeble attempts at replicating that light. Mr. Hobby provides a lighting diagram, but I do not have all the tools he is using so some creativity was in order. Either way I am very happy with the result. Can not wait to get a model in this setup ;) any takers?

Strobist:
SB600 @ 1/4 pwr into brolly-box boomed (yay) above and forward of the subject. Light needs to feather down the front of the subject that is important. Sunpak383 @ 1/16 through grid spot on bg for separation.
